Don Verhees, retired USAF Colonel, Vietnam Veteran, combat rescuee, Senior Advisor to the NATO Tiger Association, European Airshow regular, former Air Attaché, sailor, skier, paraglider, world traveller and well-known raconteur recounts his adult life and experiences in a straight-forward, non-technical, non-politically correct series of stories. The reader will quickly notice from the index that his military career and life was a little different than the norm. Many of the stories contain a healthy dose of humor. He's also included some valuable "lessons learned". There are upwards of 130 photos, mostly taken by the author.
